HCG has developed and acquired $200+ million in self-storage assets since 2017 through a combination of Single-Asset Limited Partnerships – LLC’s and LP’s set up individually to develop or acquire a single asset.

Adam serves as the Principal and Managing Partner, providing leadership and strategic oversight for the company’s investment, development, and operational initiatives. In this role, he is responsible for guiding the company’s growth strategy, identifying new investment opportunities, and ensuring the long-term performance of the portfolio. Adam works closely with the executive team to oversee acquisitions, development projects, and asset management strategies that support the company’s expansion into high-potential markets. His leadership continues to drive the company’s mission of delivering high-quality real estate investments and operational excellence.
Henry works closely with executive leadership, investors, and operations teams to identify high-potential markets and execute development projects that support the company’s long-term growth objectives. His responsibilities include evaluating market conditions, coordinating with architects, engineers, and contractors, and ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and aligned with investment expectations. With a strong focus on strategic growth and operational efficiency, Henry plays a key role in expanding the company’s footprint while maintaining disciplined development practices.
Josh brings over a decade of experience developing Class A self-storage properties, with more than 500,000 square feet delivered across Ohio and Kentucky. His expertise includes ground-up construction and adaptive reuse, along with experience in mixed-use retail, industrial assets, billboards, and cell towers. He holds a BS in Accounting from Miami University and an MBA from Xavier University. Previously, Josh spent five years in wealth management as a portfolio manager and financial advisor. Outside of real estate, he enjoys snowboarding, wakeboarding, traveling out west with his fiancé, and time with his rescue pitbull, Coleman.
Rik serves as Director of Operations for Box Self Storage under Hickory Capital Group, overseeing day-to-day operations across the company’s growing portfolio. With a strong background in operational efficiency, team leadership, and asset performance, Rik focuses on optimizing processes, maintaining property standards, and supporting on-site teams to deliver consistent results. Outside of his professional role, Rik is a dedicated youth mentor and Karate Instructor who values discipline, leadership, and personal growth. He also enjoys spending time with his family and staying actively involved in his community.
